To be continued…
There comes a time when you gotta let something go. After 5+ years of bloggin, I’m gonna lay Raised On Sandwiches to rest. This platform has evolved a great deal in that stretch of time. Among being a placeholder for funny bullshit and work I find inspiring its been an amazing way to connect with other incredibly creative people.
I will still be lurking and soaking up all of the stimulus, but I am really excited to move on to a new project dedicated solely to original content. So keep your eyes and ears peeled.
If you would like to keep in touch you should contact me at info@courtneyreagor.com, plus it will be easier to let you know about the new things coming up, if you know, you give shit :)

Not yet available in the states, but exciting all the same. Gestaltan asked me to contribute some of my work for this new art book Pretty Ugly: Visual Rebellion in Design.
For hundreds of years new artistic styles have been established through aesthetic upheaval—as the initial repugnance for now seminal works by those such as Picasso or Stravinsky demonstrate. But while art was allowed to be ugly, design had to function. Trends in graphic design and visual communication were, until very recently, all variations on what was generally considered to be appealing. It is only in the last few years that those working in applied creative disciplines started to rebel.
Against this background,Pretty Uglyis a diverse collection of recent aesthetic rampages by the trailblazers of tomorrow’s design. The variety of examples range from graphic design and visual communication to product design, furniture design, art, and photography. The unusual or negatively perceived forms, colors, and perspectives shown here may still be considered by some to be ugly, but they are already influencing the creative vanguard of the future.
